Dear Colleagues in Education:

The application process in now open for 2012! Since 1998, the Washington Workshops Foundation (WWF) has had the honor of partnering with the CICF to create this important seminar experience for students from across the United States to gain a first hand perspective on the inner workings of the US Congress, the Federal Government, and an interactive overview of the history and dynamic nature of our Nation’s Capital.

This year the program is scheduled to take place in Washington, DC from June 16-22, 2012.  The CICF invites qualifying students from Hawaii, Alaska and Pennsylvania to apply.  The CICF grant provides a full scholarship that includes round trip airfare to Washington, DC, accommodation at Georgetown University, all meals as outlined in the program (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner), ground transportation in Washington, DC for the seminar program, and all entrance fees and materials. The only item students have to take care of is their round trip ground transportation from their home to their departure airport and their personal spending money.

Please let interested students know about this amazing opportunity! Qualifying students from the states mentioned may apply. Of those who apply, those that are selected for the scholarship will be notified.
